Finding and tracing AlphaDot

The AlphaDot system is, by intent, covert and difficult to find. However, the adhesive used to secure the microdots in place does have a UV component, making them show-up more easily with a black or UV light source. Once located, it is easier to remove a dot before reading.

View the microdot against a white background with a magnification of at least 30X (viewers are available FREE to the police, on request).

Note: If you have found an AlphaDot on a vehicle component, but you suspect the vehicle may have been ringed, keep looking elsewhere since other components might have microdots with an alternate VRM recorded.
